Above, the 1st stage was the basic color composition and structure to base upon my final artwork and was created using Procreate App on iPad. I am aiming for creating a concept art of an archangel playing a golden electric guitar while in the middle of a turbulent ocean standing on a small rock formation. It has to be painterly but realistic and detailed.
I transferred my base color composition to Adobe Photoshop to get to the final result. After playing around and tweaking images, combining pictures gathered from stock photos almost making a collage, I finally came to almost final image. The progression can be seen from left to right.
Above, I decided to make the wings pop out by making it like as if it is glowing--spirit like.
Below, I finally added some rain effects to make it more dynamic and dramatic.
